Rest Day for Transorientale competitors - 21 June 2008
Stage 11 - Rest day
It's a rest day today so Bernie's been working on the bike and should have my bash plate repaired ready for tomorrow. The bike is holding up really well, which is good news because we're in for a tough, tough day tomorrow. We start dune busting in the morning, so the heat and navigation are going to be real hard.
One really good thing happened today. I lost my phone back in Russia days ago. I expected it was gone for good, until someone handed it back to me to at the rest stop in the middle of China. Not sure how the phone made it but it's a miracle I got it back!
