Rider’s Pyrenees Paradise
Following the popularity and success of the past two tours to the Pyrenees, Simon Pavey and his Off Road Skills team have developed another unbelievable trip to the stunning mountain range in 2008. This is an entry-level off-road tour for customers who have already completed the BMW Off-Road Skills Level One course suitable for riders of a BMW GS or similar large trail bike.

Motorcyclists will have the chance to experience a mixture of incredible road and off-road routes as devised by two-times Dakar Rally course organiser David Castera. This road-book tour is run by the highly experienced UK Dakar Rally coordinator Chris Evans, who has taken off-road tours to France for over 17 years.

The seven-day tour, takes in some of the most spectacular road and off-road trails in Europe, with scenery to match, giving riding enthusiasts the chance to put their off-road skills into practice. Participants will ride their own motorcycles.

A fantastic day with a good amount of off-road riding. After only 40 kilometres of autoroute, participants will then ride off-road in the Bardenas desert and then enjoy small roads with spectacular views. Accommodation will be in another Parador – Sos del Rey.

Day 4>
Leave Spain behind and arrive in the beauty of France, crossing the frontier on tracks that climb up near to the ski station of Iraty, which will include a mixture of road and off-road riding. Tonight’s accommodation will be in the hotel of St Palais in the Pays Basque with incredibly stunning views over the region.

Day 5>
From St Palais, the group will ride back into Spain via a mixture of piste and mountain road and along the coastline and stay in the town of Gernika famous for the Picasso painting it inspired during the Spanish civil war.
