BMW Motorrad GS Trophy UK Qualifier

Walter’s Arena, South Wales, 5-6 June 2010

The BMW Motorrad GS Trophy UK Qualifier 2010 is an event designed for motorcycling enthusiasts who wish to practice, or get to know the sporting challenge of the “GS” experience with like minded individuals. There is particular emphasis on the fact that this is not a racing event.

The event is not a timed competition as such, although time limits will have to be imposed. It is a test of team work, mental and physical ability combined with riding skills over varying terrain.

In order to take part in the competition, participants must be prepared to subject themselves to challenges which go beyond everyday motorcycling. This includes dirt and mud situations as determined by the weather and as is common in off-road motorcycle activities.

BMW Motorcycles will be supplied by the organiser to be used by competitors for the event.

Competitors will be challenged with riding 5 different course sections. Each section will be designed to be ridden on a particular model of BMW motorcycle and the section will suit that bike. There will be a time allowed to practice and learn the section and try to achieve your best score. All riders will, therefore, ride all 5 sections and all 5 models of BMW Motorcycle: R 1200 GS, F 800 GS, G 650 XChallenge, G 650 XCountry and F 650 GS.

Conditions of entry
