R1200GS

The surprise bike of the Off Road Skills fleet, the R1200GS may appear intimidating, but it certainly possesses a huge grin factor. The balanced nature and smooth consistent power delivery of this bike make it an easy bike to ride for all abilities. On top of this, the 1200 GS has a surprising low seat height so even for the smaller riders out there – don’t rule this bike out!

F 800 GS

The F800GS is one of BMW’s Flagship Adventure bikes and great on and off road. While more suitable for confident riders off-road, if ridden positively is the most rewarding, fun model in our fleet. With a little extra suspension and a strong engine, this bike can be awesome fun! The higher seat height however, may make it difficult for those who are less experienced.

F650GS

The smallest bike in BMW’s 2010 Adventure sport range the new F 650 GS is designed to be a small, light and easy to ride alternative for adventure touring. Using a tuned down and smoother version of the F 800 GS engine and with low seat height this bike is easier to ride than the 800GS and a good beginning bike.

G650 X-Country

Utilising the same engine as the X-Challenge model, the G 650 X-Country in an equally great bike to ride with benefits of a very low seat height, the only downside being the loss of suspension travel for the more confident rider. The bike however is extremely maneuverable and probably the easiest bike to ride at ORS.

G650 X-Challenge

BMW’s answer to the trail bike world, the X-Challenge is a great easy bike to ride, with the most off-road style set up of all the BMW adventure bikes, it’s a little taller but exceptionally easy to ride with a very tractable and gentle engine, easy controls and nimble handling this is a brilliant bike no matter the level. The only downside is the higher seat height.

G450 X

The G 450 X is BMW’s first serious off-road competition machine. A serious bike for serious off-road – the bike makes over 50hp, weighs 113kg and has full 300mm off road suspension. This bike is great for those who really want to try new things on a bike because the low weight and good power allow the rider to go places he didn’t know were possible! A great bike to develop your skills with! The G450X is a pure Off Road bike, very light, very nimble, very well suspended and just designed for off road fun. While it is street legal, don’t bother riding it to far on the road. So if your goal is just about off road fun then this is the bike for you.
